Present Activities

At present the activities of my Communications and Leadership Development agency are at a fairly low level. Except for a multi-year 'International Leadership Course' in Ireland for leaders and consultants from several countries, and on-going coaching activities, I give at present mostly one-day workshops on the Phase Model, leadership, and cooperation.
In addition I give lectures on various themes of my books. The remaining time I spend writing books.

Focus

Since I established my office, I have especially focused on trainings and coaching.

My view is that if an organization is to move ahead, it is in the first place necessary that those in leading positions not only school themselves further in the area of their own profession, but also – especially - in self-management, communications, and cooperative skills.

After all, how can you improve an organization if you, as a manager, cannot adequately manage yourself? Or if you cannot adequately communicate with your coworkers or colleagues? Or if you are not able to manage conflicts?

In my work, therefore, guiding a process of change within an organization, a department, or a (management)team is always connected with training, coaching, and many personal conversations.

Human being in development

In all this an important element that plays a role is that everyone, whatever his or her position, is in the first place a human being in development. Within the world of training the insight is gaining more and more ground that today a professional education cannot do without paying attention to the development of the manager or the employee as an individual human being in relation to other human beings.

Genuineness, authenticity, connection with one's own core, and living and striving out of this core, are what matters most in being a manager or leader in the world of today.
This shows –in my terminology - that the transition from the 'ego' phase to phases in which an inner transformation and the 'birth' of the individual self takes place - is increasingly being embraced and becoming a reality.

I have worked with leaders and managers in schools, health care institutions, banks, the police, a health insurance company, and 'Rijkswaterstaat' (Department of Water Management and Public Works of the Netherlands), to name a few.

I did and do this not only in the Netherlands but also in Belgium, Scotland, Wales, and England.

Courses and trainings

Over the years I have developed the following courses and trainings:

All of these cover knowledge and skills that are also met in other training centers. The difference between their trainings and mine is that I have redeveloped this knowledge and these skills from the perspective of spiritual insights and knowledge. By relating the Phase Model, for example, to the content of the course, these professional trainings are placed in the broader context of human development. Thus, each step you take in your professional development is then at the same time also a step towards significance and fulfillment of one's own humanity.
